📢 NAFDAC has concluded investigations into public concerns regarding the extended shelf life of BON Bread and confirms that the manufacturer is in compliance with regulatory standards.
Laboratory analysis showed that approved preservatives were used within internationally accepted limits, while no objectionable substances, including bromate, were detected in the bread samples tested.

THIS IS PETER OBI'S BABA IJEBU ECONOMIC LEGACY VS OTHER ANAMBRA GOVERNORS.
The problem we have as Igbos is that when we hate someone, we don't even care about the virtues in them.
And when we like someone we even begin to pretend and convince ourselves that such a man is without weaknesses.
That's emotional immaturity.
So many of you running up and down supporting Peter Obi didn't even witness his administration.
As in ,in terms of being politically aware enough to measure leadership performance without being emotional.
I am not from Anambra but I understand Anambra politics more than Imo politics.
Do you see me writing so much about Imo State where I come from?
No.
But I confidently write and talk about Anambra because that was the state where my political awareness was shaped.
That was the state where I not only schooled but I mixed up with indigenes .
I voted in that state and was registered at Okpuno mgbakwu ward of APGA.
So nothing you wan tell me about Peter Obi's legacy.
He was a decent Governor. But he wasn't revolutionary like Chris Ngige or professor Charles Soludo now .
He came with the UK pattern of economy where huge money is not spent on infrastructure.
Are you not shocked he said coastal road and NELFUND are a waste of money?
That's typical Peter Obi.
He was a moderate never a Revolutionary in his economic approach.
Perhaps one spectacular thing he did was modernizing Onisha roads but there are no records of mega infrastructural investments that drives business that he did.
He took taxes but kept saving money.
That resulted in driving up the poverty rate in the State.
Government is always the big spender. When govt spends money in mega projects, money is injected into the economy.
People buy more and prosperity spreads.
That's why you people always say, "During PDP money dey Street".
Yes....they were stealing and having money through subsidy and money they borrowed and they were spreading to their loved ones and their loved ones are spreading it by buying things and other ways.
But we can't actually say that's prosperity.
So Peter Obi didn't invest in infrastructure and took taxes and that resulted in drawing many into the poverty circle.
While Obi may be an ideal Governor/President if you have built the economy and you're looking for stability, but you can't ask him to champion reforms .
It's not his thing.
Soludo and Ngige fit that title among all who once ruled that State.

I know some people will not be happy hearing this obvious fact, but the reality remains that there is no meaningful NDC presence in the North. Even with all the social media predictions and online noise, nobody can confidently point to a single Northern state and claim that the NDC has the upper hand there. The same situation applies in the South West as well.
