A proposal has been put forward to essentially remove the tax exempt status of religious organizations, including churches. This means that donations to churches would have no tax benefit to those who donate to them. (1)

For many churches who are already struggling with staying open this could be the proverbial straw that breaks the camel's back resulting in the closing of many churches. These are churches who provide community to many of various ages and ethnicities. (2)

They provide emotional and material support to many in need who fall through the cracks. They also provide free or reduced rent for many community organizations like AA, NA, ALANON, Scouts, Guides, etc.

Once journalism started getting corporatized no longer owned by families dedicated to journalism or local communities but by major corporations that have all kinds of other interests besides their media division. And, what kind of attributes are awarded at major corporations? People who avoid controversy who avoid conflict, who avoid displeasing and angering powerful people. That's the corporate ethos, and the corporatization of media meant that that kind of attribute was imported into journalism. And that's why almost no one who works for large media corporations or the media corporations themselves has the courage to say this. They're shocked. They think it's a sign that he's unhinged when in reality, it's just a sign of how cowardly and craven they are."

When millions of Arabs are slaughtered by other Arabs, you say nothing. But when 7 thousand of Arabs are killed by Jews defending their right to exist, you revolt, you get angry, you storm the streets in the East and the West, you raise the Palestinian flag, you condemn the terror, you call for a ceasefire, you turn the world upside down. Why is that? Why were you so silent then but SO LOUD now? Can it be that you are finally raising a flag and creating chaos because you only hate that the perpetrators are Jews? Because you obviously don't care when millions of Arabs are killed by other Arabs. Can it be that you storming the streets is just you venting out your hatred towards Jews? The same hatred we learned in our mosques and schools? You speak of ”numbers and proportionality.” But by the rules of proportionality, you should not be raising Palestinian flags. Unless, there is another agenda at play: Jew-hatred. Or as I would call it: Hatred.
