Let me tell you a story about Bill (name changed). He is a small business man who found his health insurance premium on the marketplace go from $1200 per month to over $5000 with massive deductibles and everything that goes with that. He called us in a panic and we told him about non insurance health sharing and got him and his family covered for less than before with MUCH LESS out of pocket exposure to boot. What a relief! When you read how many "unintended consequences" Congress makes whenever they try to "Fix Health Insurance" or "Fix ACA" you'll realize the lucky ones are usually the people priced out of ACA insurance who ended up saving money with a non insurance health sharing plan.

One of our non insurance health sharing members told me a story that knocked my socks off! She had been on our health sharing plan throughout her pregnancy, and after her son was born he was diagnosed as having a stroke before he was born. The family paid ONE out of pocket amount for this baby the first year, and because our health sharing plan won't charge another out of pocket amount for this condition again unless it resolves for 12 months, it's been covered for 8 YEARS! Barring a miracle, this child's Cerebral palsy likely won't resolve. But all his treatments are fully shared. I don't know of a traditional health insurance product that could have said the same thing these last 8 years! Want me to check this out for you?

@shagbark_hick I know a guy who used to make his living from Craigslist buying, fixing, and reselling appliances and he told me everything had moved to FB because they had "restored trust" to the sales. I still can't figure out what he meant!

I will never understand why everybody and their brother switched from Craigslist to Facebook Marketplace. If I search something on Craigslist, I find it quickly, and can organize by distance from my location. But the FB Marketplace search engine is UNUSEABLE. Worthless site.

Wow those ACA premiums are going up, Up, UP! Our non insurance health sharing costs have been pretty stable. Funny huh? Maybe look into that with me... DM's open

We need honest health care. Independent pharmacists are getting clobbered.

@SharylAttkisson Health sharing encourages medical price shopping and gives people the tools to do that. But the system profits off uninformed medical consumers and bargains on them accepting unacceptable price increases supported by government regulation.

The problem isn't just insurance. Everyone having insurance has allowed the unchecked inflation of health care prices in every sector. In fact, it could be argued that more people having insurance has become a big part of the cost problem. It means providers know they will get paid for the exorbitant fees they charge...No market pressure to be fair, competitive or realistic. As long as it's guaranteed that "somebody" (you and I through premiums, taxes) will pay the unfair prices, they will keep going up. Insuring more people won't fix this. It's similar to why college tuition is outrageously high: There are loans and grants that will pay the exorbitant cost-- at other people's expense--so no pressure to be reasonable or fair.

When people decide to take charge of their own health care and find the answers that work for them at a price they can afford... They realize non insurance health sharing has exactly what they need in one affordable package.
