Sometimes, I feel like I'm managing to move on from the pain and the hurt of losing someone during the pandemic, and then I'm reminded of the pain and hurt. Why can't they acknowledge the hurt that was caused rather than try to play that down...

I called families to tell them their beloved was dying. I read out messages from absent family members. I saw the British public behave with such *staggering* decency as they obeyed the rules to protect the vulnerable. Is my anger 'overblown'? She has absolutely no idea.
