The National Churches Trust is conducting a survey to understand the challenges faced by those caring for the UK’s 38,500 churches. This study highlights the status of church buildings, their maintenance, funding, and their community support. It will identify common issues while celebrating our differences. Please note, this is separate from the Evangelical Alliance Wales Faith in Wales 2025 survey. Cytûn will circulate details so you can inform your local churches. The Church in Wales has a really big decision coming up. Whilst some of our churches currently offer blessing services for same-sex marriages, this time-limited provision will run out in September 2026. Once this period ends, we have three options: let the provision lapse, keep it and continue to provide blessings to same-sex marriages, or start a process that would allow us to conduct same-sex marriages.
