Today, while walking between a meeting & a school visit, a stranger silently stopped me, pointed aggressively at my dog collar, pulled out a dog biscuit from their pocket, threw it down and told me to go and get it. Disturbed. Unsettled. This is micro-aggression.

Confused. Why do hundreds of people celebrating on the streets of Gaza not look starved? We’ve been told they have no food. They look amazingly well.

I don't like to broadcast many parts of my life but I was very pleased to make the day on Sunday for a little girl who looked so despondent when her sister was down to serve but she wasn't. Cue her being boat-child. Day made for both of us!

Conservative leaders who back Trump should be ashamed. They are abandoning the very values which were once the core of conservatism - betraying the very idea of constitutional government, prudence in policy, and simple decency. And they are also backing a loser...

Slightly niche question: I'm officiating for a military funeral in a fortnight. As an ex-regular soldier*, is it appropriate to wear medals on my tippet? Added wrinkle is I'm still in the Volunteer Reserves but in another role, NOT as a Chaplain. *not really much of a soldier.
