The weather on the Big Island is more diverse than any island or comparably sized chunk of land in the world. You name it, we got it. According to the Köppen Climate Classification System (our favorite system), the Big Island has 10 of the 15 types of climatic zones in the world.

We’ve heard of people getting waterfall fatigue from traveling the Hana highway, but honestly, we have yet to experience it.
