Aaron Fischer - My Review

TO BE CLEAR....I am a DC fan FIRST. That has nothing to do with Snyder. That had nothing to do with James Gunn. It just so happens that WB has always owned the DC IP. I know what I like and what I don't about film, entertainment & DC. It just so happens Snyder, Nolan and the writers of the first 4 years of the DCEU wrote some incredible stories and brought DC characters to life. They took it seriously. The studio had other plans and backstabbed all of those fans of that universe and those stories and brought Gunn in to take control of DC. Gunn is for 15 year olds. He writes like a degenerate and it shows in everything he does. He completely disrespects DC characters. I will never be HAPPY about that and I don't have to accept it. I will still cover DC moving forward. That bothers some. TOO BAD!! I don't just stop because I don't like the content. You don't like it then move on.

The audience is really liking this film.

@ReviewFischer Ur not a DC fan dude...DC fans dnt spend all their time talking trash about DC projects....I didn't like The Dark Knight Rises but I didn't spend every waking moment trashing it and DC like a weirdo.....That's the difference between a DC fan(myself) and a troll(you).

@ReviewFischer Supergirl is my most anticipated movie of the year.....As a DC fan a movie featuring Supergirl, Krypto, Lobo and Superman is a must-see.

@ReviewFischer As a long-time DC fan, I remember when Wonder Woman's early box office tracking was the same range but then it got great word of mouth and ended up opening with over $100 Million.

While some act like ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ is one of the worst Star Wars movie ever made, I just sat through an IMAX 3D screening where people of all ages laughed, cheered, and even clapped when the movie ended. I dunno, I think everything might be fine.

The interest is NOT there for the #JamesGunn DCU. #DCStudios is dead. #Supergirl is going to lose the studio money. They have no idea how to handle the DC IP. For the opening domestic take to only be between 40-60 during the Summer season is horrible.

@AKnightRonin Not true. I am far from Disney Star Wars fan. I hate they have the IP. But that doesn’t change that the film is actually good.

THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU is a shockingly inept film. The story is episodic meaninglessness which neither illuminates anything new about the characters or the universe itself. It’s clearly just a repurpose of season four scripts into a feature film. So disappointing.
