#Ramayana teaser is a hit and a miss. A few VFX shots are good, but some are cartoonish. For a 4000-crore movie, a lot more was expected.
Also, it proves that real locations >>> CGI-generated ones.
LOTR was primarily shot in New Zealand, which contributed a lot to its epicness.

One of my biggest pet peeves in movies is when they claim it's fictional and put dates on the screen.
A lot of good movies avoid that if you observe closely, unless their intention is completely different.

Yes,the propaganda is not subtle. The latter parts were filmy, a stark contrast to the grounded Part 1.
But you can't deny the skill of filmmaking involved. The performances, the cinematography, and the action choreography are all top-notch.
A high-quality movie.
