To me MW19 and BO7 are examples of this problem just on different sides
One is so different in terms of its slow paced grounded nature, and the other is so different in terms of being fast & chaotic
Sure cod fans can still enjoy them, but they are also both highly controversial

Something Ive realized regarding movement playing the modern MPs back to back is this: advanced & omnimovment arent inherently bad themselves
Yet combined imo it truly is too much to where it looses that “cod feel” as even bo3 somehow does feel more “cod” & less chaotic than bo7

Went back and played a bit of all the modern cod MPs here over the past month or so while working on videos… BY FAR, the most enjoyable one that made me feel the way I used to back in the golden era was MWIII. Even after the honeymoon phase that game aged so unbelievably well!
