If We remove Ballon D’or, Bukayo Saka is actually better than Lionel Messi.
I’m talking skills, technique, shot power, speed and passing ability.
Don’t get me wrong Messi is a great player, but he didn’t singlehandedly lead a club to a title in over 20 years ❤️😂
#COYG ❤️
@LFC_Tandy Yes and no.
Yes because their style of football isn't great for a neutral. Playing with 4 cb and 2 cdm hoping for a 1-0 set piece win.
No because no PL champ are a bad team. You have to get the most points and play the same games as everyone else.
Liverpool fans seem particularly bitter about us winning the title for some reason.
Sorry lads, it’s not our fault Declan Rice already has a greater Premier League legacy than Steven Gerrard.
Congrats to arsenal on winning the Premier league for the first time.
Their style of football isn't to everyone's taste, but cant argue with the results.
Remember the mainstream media played deaf to this career ending tackle by Kovacic on Ødegaard. Arsenal fans don't let them gaslight you that we are winning the league because of VAR when City have been getting away with Murder.
Everyone can cry about “Varsenal” all they want, but this was one of the most scandalous red cards I’ve ever seen and all people said was “get on with it”
@Frank7051964332@RaduFrancu@AFC_Monty_ You'll have to forgive me, I haven't seen anything about that and don't recall seeing it in the game.
I've seen the one where the defender nips in and gets the ball and saka then kicks him.
Hannibal Mejbri kicked the ball away to delay a restart in the first half whilst on a yellow card.
Can someone explain why nobody is outraged that “letter of the law” wasn’t applied and he wasn’t sent off?
🚨Mikel Arteta could completely monopolise this league now that Pep is leaving.
Forget City’s 4 in a row Arteta could make it 6 straight titles and turn the Premier League into the biggest farmers league football has ever seen.
Even VAR & PGMOL corruption may not stop it👀
Thoughts?
I've been in packed Irish bars in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Paris, watching Celtic games.
Celtic are revered all over the world.
Cry harder.
@maddycted@OliverKay So they haven't spent anything? Collusion between them and other clubs to inflate prices? They actually just threw west ham 100 quid for rice and called it 100mil?
😂😂😂 you fucking moron.
@Rex0rbis@OliverKay With which money? Arsenal have debts for stadium and covid strike. Out of champions league for several seasons didn't help the financial. That's why Arteta rebuild Arsenal little by little.
If Mikel Arteta had wanted to wait — and wait and wait — at Manchester City, there is every chance he would’ve been the man about to take over from Pep Guardiola.
He sacrificed that for the opportunity build something of his own — pretty much from the ground up — at Arsenal. What Arteta has done is remarkable nytimes.com/athletic/72905…
@KlyntarCzar@OliverKay Really it's more so to wind up the "fans" that have never seen the stadium let alone been there for a game and so nothing but talk.
VAR isn't fit for purpose. All clubs have been shafted by it at some stage. Officiating has got so bad as the years have went by with it.
@Rex0rbis@OliverKay This "VARsenal" thing is a bit silly considering we've had years of being told to "get over it" with regards to things like VAR forgetting to draw the offside line, a ref not sending Kovacic off as he didn't want to ruin the game, Rice getting sent off for tapping the ball etc
@Cal_EL96@OliverKay Source : trust me bro 😂😂😂
But lets say your figures are correct, I have stated VARsenal spent over £2billion in 5 seasons. Lets take your smallest average....what's 411 million multiplied by 5?
Two billion in five seasons! 😂 Think you're confusing Arsenal with Chelsea. It's basically £1 billion in six seasons — which is an enormous amount of money, clearly, but it's about half the amount of Chelsea, broadly similar to Liverpool (almost half of it last summer), Man City, Man Utd and Tottenham, all of whom had far, far stronger squads than Arsenal in late 2019.
Put it this way. If Arsenal hadn't got back into the Champions League — which was miles away when Arteta took over — they wouldn't have been able to spend anywhere near as much as they have
