Yesterday there was an Islamic attack at a Mosque in San Diego, 3 were killed. Why do we have coverage non-stop from morning to night shouting Islamophobia. When a Hindu Temple or Synagogue gets attacked the Media is Silent. No Hinduphobia or Antisemitism. No outrage. Crickets.

Call me old-fashioned, but if you are the head of a mosque in San Diego, instructing Muslims in San Diego that it's fine to rape, murder, and kidnap Jewish people, you need to be kicked the hell out of the US and the mosque needs to be shut down.

It's Mira Road again. A few days back, an Islamist was threatening Raj Thackeray against even entering Mira Road and getting back in one piece. Now, check this case from the so-called Muslim area. Ajay, an Ola-Uber driver, went to a CNG pump in Mira Road with his girlfriend Roma. A car tried to overtake them by crossing the rickshaw lane and broke the side glass of Ajay's car. When Roma pulled down the window, all she faced was abuse. Later, two more men joined the gang. Then Faizan, Hilal, Mohammed and others assaulted the couple. They even tore the clothes of Roma. An FIR against them has been registered. Check the audacity, they are calling people to attack Hindus over mere disputes related to gas and petrol.

When will urban developers' obsession with palm trees stop? Residential societies, shopping malls, and along highways, wherever you go, you see this "Dubaification", rows of mostly non-native palm trees. Compared to traditional Indian trees like neem and banyan, they offer little value: minimal shade, poor support for local biodiversity, limited particulate trapping, higher maintenance. Yet they are everywhere just because they are perceived as elite, and "global."
