@shushwave Homelander has been a vulnerable man baby since day one. I think the appropriate way to handle Homelander being cornered would've been him lashing out with planetary violence like a child with powers. He was moving around like a dumbass in that oval office "fight". Its a sad show

Anyone who expected anything else is a victim of being terrible at understanding basic character writing. Homelander was never an example of being strong mentally or emotionally.

Adolf Hitler shot himself the moment he knew he couldn't win his war. The Boys has several issues writing wise but they portrayed what happens when a narcissist loses all power pretty well.

@RealEmirHan Eric's TDS flooded his writing "talent" and ruined the show 10 fold. Homelander was anything but a strong man especially when we saw how vulnerable he was through the entire show. He was literally Eric with a cape. 🤣

In The Boys finale, Homelander had to look powerless according to Eric Kripke “Yeah, it was really important to us for Homelander to at least experience a little bit of time powerless.” “People have asked me, ‘Well, why don’t you send him out in the world powerless, wouldn’t that be the ultimate punishment?’ “I’m like, it would, until he gets his hands on some more Compound V, and then you’re back to where you started.” “So, he cannot walk out of that room alive, but we can spend time with him powerless to really reveal what everyone’s been saying all season, which is, ‘Take away those powers and you are nothing.’ “And he’s so cowardly and blubbering and pathetic, as are most strong men when you remove their power and they’re and they’re faced with their imminent death, they rarely handle it bravely.”

@cartmansfinsta Ryan should've been the "Superman" for that world to show everyone that just because you have powers doesn't mean you are inherently bad or corrupt.

What’s so crazy about Antony Starr as Homelander is he had no one to look to when he was becoming Homelander. He was the first to ever do it, if the role was to come around again no one will ever be able to recreate what he did with that character. So long story short yes 100% the best super villain since heath’s joker.
