@Jsipki1344461 @PoliceApologist @kittischmitti It is when the character has an expanded upon lore. Comic book universe lore is way more vast that star wars. The “side character” in star wars lego might have 2-3 appearances in books but the “side character” in a DC property could’ve appeared in a shit load of runs and solos

Yeah like the game is really fun but a lot of the Lego game magic is absent tbh. What if instead of unlocking new characters through the side activities you get to open two hundred chests to get minor gadget upgrades you'll never need

If there was one criticism I would have for Lego Batman LOTDK, it would be the character roster. There being only 7 characters makes it the smallest Lego game roster by far. I understand that the idea was to aim for more uniqueness with a smaller total amount of characters. However, I don’t think the characters are unique enough to warrant that. When you’re playing through the story, it works out. But once you’ve beaten that, the shortcomings from this choice really become apparent. There needed to be way more. Collecting characters is a vital part of Lego game end-game and unfortunately this game misses out on that. I still love it, and my rating still stays at 9/10! But it could have been a 10 had they invested more into the character roster.
