@fix_immigration Telling our immigrant stories, allowing immigrant families to build their names through entrepreneurship, and empowering women are all very REAL impactful actions. Ones that are close to my heart and very important to my niece –– who I miss so much every day.

I hope the community remembers that the things they care about are strongly intertwined with the entities they are quick to target. The Chinatown pageant is a staple to maintaining our heritage — and the pageant cannot happen without our local businesses which we should support.

As a Chinatown community, we should ask where our strength comes from? Our community's strength has come largely from our community leaders, including our business leaders. We should remember to not lose our heads in this emotionally turbulent time and seek out the truth.
