OTD (Fri, Mar 10) 1916 on military duty in #Barrie: "Inoculation of the troops (for typhoid) took place this morning. Col. MacLaren & I taking the 1st & 2nd places. Feeling rather sore with cold, chills, & then fever during the afternoon, no doubt the results of inoculation."
