I’ve always been able to distinguish between the love and support that has been given to me, and the current conflict. I have never generalized or assumed that the love and support from Cambodian people in the past came from anyone with ill intentions. I truly recognize and appreciate every bit of that kindness. What I’ve spoken is not meant to spread hatred or shut anyone out it simply comes from my sincere desire to stand on the side of what is right. Right now, I simply wish to stand for what is right. We should not harm one another in any form physically or emotionally. No one desires war, for every war brings pain to both the body and the soul. All we ask is to speak the truth.
