Peter Obi: I Asked Him On The Table To Tell Me How We Will Win In 2027, But He Failed—Ikenna Azomchine Ikenna Azomchine, a former strategist within the Obidient political structure, has revealed the core tactical reasons behind his decision to reassess his partisan loyalties ahead of the next electoral cycle. The mobilizer explained that long-term political plans require concrete roadmap discussions that the leadership failed to provide during critical planning meetings. According to a video posted on the Official YouTube channel of Trust TV on Thursday, June 11, 2026, while explaining his frustration over the lack of a clear strategic roadmap ahead of the next general election, he stated, “I wanted him on the table to tell me how we will win in 2027, but he was never able to do that.” The political organizer noted that movements cannot survive on sheer sentiment alone without a practical path toward capturing executive power. He expressed that his insistence on detailed electoral planning was meant to protect the efforts of millions of followers who expect actual governance results rather than another round of avoidable losses. Azomchine defended his current independent stance, explaining that political realism must take precedence over blind emotional attachment to any single candidate. He maintained that engaging with alternative political options becomes necessary when existing leadership structures cannot provide clear answers on how they intend to achieve victory and implement their public policies. In his concluding remarks, Azomchine stressed that his ultimate goal remains finding a viable political platform that can deliver tangible economic progress for the country. He urged opposition elements to move past rhetoric and focus on creating realistic, measurable strategies if they truly want to remain relevant in the evolving national landscape. Credit: PH News.

@novieverest Kwankwaso lost Kano. The kwankwaso of 2023 not the same kwankwaso of 2027. Peter Obi got the fake Kwankwaso. Tinubu hasnt lost Buhari block votes. They will repay Tinubu for given befitting burial to Buhari. Obi is only one who lost greatly because in 2023 he was bigger than SSD.

Let me give you something to plunder about. After the 2023 elections, how have the main candidates fared? Tinubu has added the power of incumbency but lost Buhari's block votes. Atiku has lost the PDP structures and lost his governors and purse. Peter Obi has added Kwankwaso and some core politicians. You know who hasn't improved anything. If you like, waste your votes.

Let me make it clear that as a citizen and a Lawyer, I have a duty to disclose every crime against the state that comes within my knowledge. The South-East people have suffered enough. No human being can again take them or any citizen of Nigeria for granted or perpetrate any fraud against them without challenge. Obunike is just one out of many others who have been scammed by NDC and its leaders. The appropriate security agencies and anti-corruption agencies should immediately commence the investigation of this fraud by NDC and its leaders with a view to refunding the aspirants who were defrauded. According to Obunike Ohaegbu, Peter Obi is at the head of this fraud, according to NDC, and he must be investigated. Senator Seriake Dickson made it clear that the decision of NDC is that aspirants should pay for only expression of interest form and no more. He said that the only person who is allowed to pay for the nomination form is the winner of the primary election. Any other payment to the party is a product of corruption. May I ask, Is Obunike Ohaegbu and the other aspirants for the Nnewi House of Representatives primary election winners of the primary election? If not, then Peter Obi and the NDC must refund him and all other NDC aspirants their stolen money. This is the main reason I went public with this information. The NDC aspirants must be refunded back their money.

@realkenokonkwo Wait, aren't you in the ADC. Why are you so obsessed with the internal issues of a party you aren't even a part of? Why is it so hard for you to actually sell your own candidate and face your legal issues? No one is even hearing about the ADC anymore.

My attention has been drawn to the interview granted to Channels TV and NJENJE MEDIA TV by Obunike Ohaegbu, the NDC House of Representatives aspirant for Nnewi North and South/Ekwusigo Federal Constituency to the effect that he did not tell me directly that Peter Obi said that he should pay N10m to NDC account for nomination fee. I have been laughing since then. In all honesty, I cannot even say everything this man told me about Peter Obi just to preserve the remaining of Peter Obi’s tattered reputation. Indeed, I asked him a question when we were discussing orally, “are you telling me that Peter Obi is the head of this criminal gang that defrauded you people?” He answered “Peter Obi is the head, stomach, and feet of the criminal gang.” As a matter of fact, he pleaded with me to save our people from the criminality of Peter Obi. I told him to put it in writing. His message was so long that he had to apologise for the length. Please tell me, if a person said that Peter Obi was writing list of aspirants in John Wood Hotel, Abuja, who didn’t win election in NDC, to become candidates for NDC, what else is criminality? He even stated clearly that Peter Obi wrote Senator Victor Umeh’s name as a candidate when he lost. He referred to Peter Obi as my friend in some of his allegations against Peter Obi. I asked him to clarify that “my friend” which he wrote was Peter Obi, and he expressly admitted that. See the WhatsApp messages where he confirmed he was talking about Peter Obi. Please see some excerpts as directly stated by Obunike Ohaegbu: “My brother, The entire NDC project, at least from my personal experience, has left me feeling deceived and profoundly disappointed ... While other states, particularly Kano and several states in the North, appeared to be engaged in negotiations and consultations aimed at achieving consensus, neither I nor, to the best of my knowledge, any aspirant from Anambra State was invited to any meeting for the purpose of negotiating or agreeing a consensus arrangement. Consequently, I mobilised my supporters and participated fully in the primary election process in the belief that the outcome would determine the party’s candidates. This naturally raises a fundamental question. If no consensus meeting was held with the aspirants in Anambra State, and no agreement was reached amongst those seeking nomination, my brother Ken, how did your friend arrive at the list of candidates that he allegedly produced at Johnwood Hotel in Abuja? Consensus, by its very nature, requires consultation, negotiation and agreement amongst stakeholders. Where there is no consultation, no negotiation and no agreement, there can be no consensus. If aspirants were directed to participate in primaries while candidate lists were allegedly being prepared elsewhere, then serious questions arise about the integrity of the entire process. If that is not fraud, then the word fraud must have another meaning ... The list reportedly included individuals who did not emerge from the primary process. Indeed, even Senator Victor Umeh, who reportedly lost his contest, appeared on the list. Yet, as of today, 7 June 2026, the party has still not published the official results of the primaries ... Even more disturbing is the fact that the same statement signed by the National Secretary appeared to shift responsibility for the Anambra situation to PO. I have read the statement several times and remain unable to understand how a political party can conduct primaries, refuse to publish results, claim to have completed appeals, produce a controversial list of candidates, and then seek to place responsibility elsewhere.”

I have just read the communique released by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) under the leadership of His Grace Archbishop Daniel Okoh from the 2026 National Church Leaders Summit and I align with the concern and sympathies of the Church in Nigeria over the security of the lives of Nigerians. The demand for a comprehensive review of the nation’s security architecture, enhanced intelligence gathering, stronger inter-agency cooperation, improved operational effectiveness and greater accountability in the fight against terrorism, banditry and violent crime, are all fully in line with my position on the failure of the Tinubu-led Federal Government. It is encouraging for Nigerians to see Christians from various denominations and blocs unite in this spiritual wake-up call upon the political leadership to do better. From the Catholic Secretariat to the Christian Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (CPFN), the Organisation of African Instituted Churches to the TEKAN/ECWA and other Christian blocs in Nigeria, the declaration of a three-day period of national mourning should serve as moments of reflection for all political leaders, especially those in power with the responsibility to do better by Nigerians. As insecurity ravages without concern for religious or ethnic differences which have been made more glaring by the 360 degrees failure of the incumbent government, I commend this noble effort to hold the ruling party accountable and encourage solidarity from all Nigerians in this regard. I enjoin other faith organisations especially of the Muslim block to lend their voices to this wake-up call. On behalf of the political opposition whom Tinubu has ignored as well as the Nigerian people, I urge Tinubu to listen to this urgent call from CAN and diligently ponder his courses of action beyond rhetorics, at least for his remaining months in office. -AA guardian.ng/news/nigeria/m…

Fixing Nigeria’s electricity challenge requires massive investment. Our current budget struggles to meet existing obligations, let alone fund a rapid expansion of power infrastructure. Peter Obi should explain how he intends to finance his proposed 10,000MW increase in electricity generation within four years. In eight years as governor, Anambra’s IGR grew by about 18%. How will he simultaneously finance power projects, roads, security, education, ports, and salaries? Ambitious targets are important, but the funding plan matters just as much.

Congratulations are in order Y.E @PeterObi As we march towards January 16, please do not show up for any presidential debates if the incumbent president won’t stand on that same debate stage. APC already established the pattern; Buhari & Tinubu always hid behind the same excuse of “hectic campaign schedules.” Now they can’t even claim “governance” is keeping them busy, since nothing in this country suggests anyone is governing. This is crunch time; we’re way past the time for shalaye. We will not legitimize an empty podium, while the incumbent chills at the villa to enjoy the show on tv. A new standard must be set. -A new Nigeria 🇳🇬 is POssible. #OK2027 #NDC

Now that Atiku emerged as the ADC candidate in 2027, I think at this stage the next card for the APC will be to do everything to protect Atiku Abubakar and make sure he’s on the ballot. That way, Obi will not be able to move into the North through Kwankwaso’s route. The APC needs to do everything and anything to avoid Atiku not being on that ballot. Because if Atiku is not on the ballot, it will be much easier for Obi to walk across the North through Kwankwaso. This is especially true with the narrative he keeps repeating that he just wants to do four years only and then leave. Although not all of the North will buy that, it will still be easy for him to penetrate the North with that campaign if Atiku is not on the ballot. No Northerner will vote for Obi if they see Atiku on the ballot. But if Atiku is not on the ballot for one reason or another, they are likely to vote for Obi against Tinubu. And Kwankwaso is the one who will finish that job in that aspect.

Atiku was doing 33k votes margin in Adamawa 5% and 7% of votes in Yobe and Borno. Before Fintiri and Buhari’s cabal helped him. RMK has repeatedly churned out over a million votes in Kano without external support. Time will tell! RMK is the dark horse 2027.
