@CropsCover The good old critical weed free period for soybean was V1 to V3. We likely need to reevaluate and put in some caveats due to our early soybean planting recommendations but that’s where I would start!

@allifarm @leofroc That is known as fasciation, not fully known but could be hormonal response to environmental stress, mutation of a single cell in meristem.

Unless you like to deal with 3’ yellow flowers or a carpet of purple flowers, consider a burndown this fall. It will make spring operations much easier, especially with crop protection supply concerns!

This time of year is like a giant game of guessing if it’s a crime scene or Halloween decorations when driving through parts of Bloomington in the dark.

Why to heavily consider spraying fall burn down, these guys are already up and going, and they have 6 months of growing to do until April 1 alone, doing a fall burn down is a better than throwing a witches brew at the winter annuals early next spring, especially marestail!

Hidden in the 3.5 T go green deal is a fee for methane emissions that will charge 6500 per dairy cow, 2600 per head on cattle and 500 per head on hogs. This **** is getting out of hand.

@CortevaUS What are the active rates/gallon in Resicore XL? Are they the same rates as what is currently in Resicore?

When scouting wheat ahead of FHB fungicide applications check for stripe rust also.

Winter annuals are weeds- not a cover crop. They are really taking off with the recent warmer temps. Spring burndown applications are just around the corner. Be sure to follow plant back restrictions on burndown products to avoid potential crop injury. @FSServices @GMK_Agronomy

This just reiterated how important it is to not rely solely on chemical weed control measures. Utilize cultural, mechanical and even biological control measures too. A weed control program should encompass more than just one of these. @GMK_Agronomy

A little stink bug damage is starting to show up in fields. Continue scouting through and during mid-late vegetative stages to prevent potential issues with ear deformities.
