Please ooo 😩… what exactly is going on in Maurice Sam’s new movie Free Jemimah? Is the Jemimah meant to be bald or is she suffering from stage 4? Because this is not giving “bald.” It’s giving badly done Halloween prop. It’s giving mannequin head. It’s giving anything but believable. Let’s not even sugarcoat it, are we seriously expected to accept that this is her real head? In 2026? With all the advancements in film, makeup, and storytelling? This isn’t just bad, it’s lazy. The foundation is loud, the head shape is completely off, and instead of immersing the audience, it’s practically screaming, “this is fake!” every single second. And the real issue here is commitment. If the actress didn’t want to shave her hair, fine. Nobody is forcing anyone. But then why go ahead and give us this? Why not cast someone who is ready to fully embody the role, or at the very least, be smart enough to hide the hair properly throughout the film? At this point, the head is more distracting than the storyline itself. Honestly, it’s not just disappointing, it’s borderline disrespectful to the audience. COPIED!
