@BobWulff They are easily cleaned with a wet cloth. Source: I do it multiple times per week at my store.

It’s crazy that Apple, in all of their design brilliance, has never figured out a way to prevent their cables from becoming yellow.

@tajenelson @ess0h @JustinJDean @JoannaStern Currently GSX won’t let you create a repair on a device that’s running beta software.

@ess0h @JustinJDean @JoannaStern Having done these repairs for Apple, their post repair diagnostic will always fail unless it’s on a stable build. Not sure if this has been removed since I was there. Most of the time mobilegenius won’t let you check in devices on beta software.

Fun fact: Apple will NOT do a display change or any repairs to your iPhone if you are running iOS beta. They’ll make you reset the phone before they do the repair. Ok, fine, this was a not-so-fun fact.
