Diaz is a massive loss, let no one tell you otherwise. And I'm only okay about this if Isak is coming in. From a goal contribution point of view he was top 3 left wingers in Europe last season. On top of that he is the top goalscorer in the world cup qualifiers in South America currently. And what's largely ignored is Diaz work rate, and his ability to press and work back defensively. He is far superior to Gakpo in this aspect. It's not all what you do going forward. So let's hope Ekitike and Wirtz have same willingness to work back as Diaz had or you'll see us much easier to counter on next season👍

Here are some facts for you because this is not an opinion discussion. 27 different LIV players competed in the majors in 2024 for a combined 60 appearances. Collectively they had 6 top 10s. Bryson DeChambeau accounted for 3 of those. With the exception of Bryson not one LIV player managed a top 5 in a major in 2024. It has been a while since a LIV player had a legit shot to win a major besides Bryson. Reed never had a legit chance to win yesterday but it was the first top 5 for a LIV player not named Bryson in a long time.

LIV Golf had 5 of the top 15 at The Masters or 42% of LIV golfers in the field. So much for the not competitive narrative.
