More than one million 16-24 year-olds are not in education, employment or training in Britain. This is not a coincidence, it is the direct result of Government policy. We should abolish the minimum wage, abolish the Employment Rights Act, reverse the NI hike!

🚨 NEW: A Government review has found that the nearly 1 million young people out of work and education are costing the UK over £125 billion each year

@MadeinNorfolk72 @TheSun I know dozens of teenagers and young people in their 20s from all walks of life. I know how hard it is. Whether they are employed/employable always comes back down to parents and the values and ethics they've given their kids.

Cynthia Erivo responds to jokes about her being Ariana Grande’s “bodyguard” after defending her from an intruder on the ‘WICKED: FOR GOOD’ red carpet: “I think that we haven’t really come to terms with the insidious nature of how we view Black women. And I’m sure people will read this and think, ‘Oh, for goodness’ sake, it’s not about that.’ But it is. Because that’s what was being made fun of. It was my physique; it was my shape; it was the fact that I was bald; it was about what I looked like. And because of that, there was this assumption that I was bigger than my co-star and so I had to be controlling or protecting, and that was my role. I would hazard a guess that it would not have been the same had it been the other way around.” (variety.com/2026/legit/fea…)

Picked up a prescription today and had to pay £10. Woman asked if I get it free, to which I answered, how would I get it free out of curiosity? She said if I was unemployed, on JSA or any other income benefits…got me thinking. The incentive to NOT work in this country just comes with too many benefits! If you work, you pay…if you don’t work, you get it free! What’s the point, honestly? 😂 Can’t even save tax free in my ISA as of next year…very unserious country we live in the UK.

Mr. Bezos: Let's have that debate. Under my 5% billionaires wealth tax, we'd: -Give $12K to a working family of 4 -Expand Medicare for dental, vision, hearing -Guarantee universal childcare -Raise starting teacher pay to $60K And you'd still be worth $269 billion after taxes.

🚨 BREAKING: The energy price cap will rise by 13% from July The typical household will pay £1,862 per year - an increase of £221

Something for people who live in hot countries to remember before they go "LOL HAHA SILLY PEOPLE DIE WHEN TOO HOT, DONT THEY KNOW ITS HOTTER IN OTHER PLACES?"
