🗣️ Robert Lewandowski: "After four years full of challenges and hard work, it's time to move. I leave with the feeling that the mission is complete. 4 seasons, 3 championships. I will never forget the love I received from the fans from my very first days.
Catalonia is my place on earth. Thank you to everyone I met along the way during these beautiful four years. A special thank you to President Laporta for giving me the chance to live the most incredible chapter of my career.
Barça is back where it belongs. Visca el Barça. Visca Catalunya."

A brilliant effort yesterday by everyone and a massive thanks to all who helped and supported.
It’s a message the club surely has to listen to now.
This isn’t going away.
Being the only club to shut down a conversation with its own supporters by locking in general admission price rises for three years is tone deaf, however it’s spun.
Three years. No annual say. No accountability.
Normalising price rises when there is already widespread concern about the direction of the game is all business and no heart.
And that’s the clash.
Fans love their clubs and give everything to supporting them.
Give something back, instead of seeing what more you can wring out of them.

An example of what the club advertise whilst simultaneously sanitising the exact same crowd year on year.

Winners mentality right there, proper rattled one of the best players the world has seen. The current lot would be picking him up and apologising 😵💫

I think this one image sums up the disconnect between the fans and the players at the moment.
What a difference a year makes in that regard. They’re all millionaires and just seem totally disconnected from reality these days.
The away fans especially, invest so much time and money into following the club. They’ll stay until the end and give as much support as they can - but if they see a manager and team who look like they can’t be arsed then you’ll lose their support.
Liverpool fans don’t typically make banners and chant for their own manager being sacked, but leaving early and chanting for another manager is as close as you’re going to get.
The tongue in cheek “Hodgson for England” chant was similar to what happened at the Etihad with the Alonso chant.
The manager has slowly lost the fans, we all hoped he would turn it around but there is just no sign of it happening, surely the owners see that?
I just don’t understand what Szoboszlai was trying to achieve too. He could see there was hardly any left, the ones that are left, are simply not going to applaud that capitulation.
Time for change, before the rot truly sets in and we go back to winning the odd cup.
