Being a clipper in 2026 is so much better than a creator/KOL You make WAY more money You can infinitely scale (hire people under you, make more accounts) And the biggest bottleneck (make more content) doesn’t exist as there’s unlimited content If I was starting today I never would’ve been a “creator”, I would’ve just been a clipper I think platforms will eventually push back against it as original creators grow frustrated with the rise in clipping and they can’t compete But not stopping anytime soon

Clipping on X is about to become more valuable, not less Cause now it’s not just ambiguous “brand awareness”, there is obvious ROI in the form of engagement on your posts Spend $5k on a clip team -> get 1k+ shares & 1M impressions on your posts The clipper doesn’t get paid from their posts anymore but they still make money from the campaigns Which tbh might make the model more fair for original creators X becomes Pay2Win (nothing new) and lots more video content which Nikita says he wants Would like to see more platforms do this tbh
