I come across as disrespectful because I refuse to bow a knee to your understanding. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob had a different God than Israel. Example: Deuteronomy 32:8–9 (Dead Sea Scrolls--this is important because Jews change the translation later to benefit Israel in the OT) - El Elyon the High God in Canaan divides the nations among the gods - Yahweh receives Israel as his portion according to the OT Bible and the Bible is an account for Jews by Jews. This only makes sense if El and Yahweh are not the same being. All of these transitions are found in the OT and they point to a spiritual battle involving many gods. At the same time there are civilizations in what we call Europe and Asia that have their own Gods or Principalities. We (humans) struggle not against flesh and blood but against these Principalities. Really? Why didn't great empires starting 1000s of years before and continue even today not know this God of Abram? Egypt 3100 BCE was a power and built the great pyramids before Abraham was born. No mention of pyramids in the Bible Abraham, Joseph, the Hebrews who, in the movie the 10 Commandments built them but they had been there long before this God or those people. They didn't know because they were never there. Sumer 3500 BCE. Akkadia, indus Valley, Shang Due (China) all existed before this God was created and worshiped. The whole OT Bible to include prophesy was written after events took place. It even captures creation stories from older civilizations. None of those ancient civilizations worshiped the God of Abraham. Elohim (Hebrew), Netjuru (Egyptian), Igigi/Anunnaki (Sumer, Akkadia, Babylon, Assyria, Canaan)? Plural in numbers. rulers, judges, either as divine representatives at sacred places or as reflecting divine majesty and power. Not the exact same gods unless you accept that the God of Israel is the consolidation of all the God's of Canaan, Babylon, Assyria Sumer etc. Respectfully, Pat

So Jesus is cursing opposing viewpoints in your reply screen shot.. No freedom of thought or speech under that type of tyranny. That is exactly how radical Islam operates under Sharia Law. Religion is created by tyrants for tyrants. Islam may be younger in organization but it's the same God "concept" of Abraham worshiped by Christians and Jews. It's the same laws, same power struggle, same justification for killing opposition. Christianity did NOT grow because it was nice. It grew by conquest. If or when nuclear war breaks out, it will be in the name of this God, for this God, to purge this God's opposition and the survivors will thank this God for it.
