Prosecution didn't even ask for the highest sentence either. Daniel Penny: clearly not murder and it's been like a week, maybe see what happens. Kelontre: Got A 6 year sentence for shooting the police dog and the firearm charge, he got in a straight up gunfight with police. He also took a plea deal, so he agreed with the sentencing. Now, double standard you say? Let's see Daniel shaver: White male unarmed, begging for his life attempting to comply with confusing police instructions, crawled forward as instructed and gunned down by an officer with "you're fucked" engraved on his rifle. Officer acquitted Edward Bronstein: White male, unarmed, in custody, yelling I can't breathe as he died, 2 months before George Floyd. Just now the officers are facing charges. Maximum 4 years if convicted. Tony Timpa: White male, died in similar way to Floyd, except the officers were openly mocking him as he died, and faced zero criminal proceedings, even a wrongful death suit was thrown out, only recently has that been overturned. 0 criminal charges. Educate yourself.
