One of my major beefs with Hasan and the people in his orbit is they just say shit. They make zero effort to tie it to reality. This statement does not even slightly square with his actual behavior one bit. We had a chance to crush the fascist Republicans last election. Donald Trump would have finally been held accountable for his crimes. The country would not have embraced fascism. Millions of vulnerable people would not be harmed. And what did Hasan do? He spent all of his time attacking Democrats and demotivating people from voting for the anti-fascist party. And now that the fascist one and we have a "Nazi" President, he wants to say "oh well Democrats are not doing enough to fight the fascists." It's peak gaslighting. People begged him to stop lying about Kamala and Democrats before the election and he refused.

This is an obvious point, but a more logical non-Marxist definition of the means of production includes the so-called "living labour" itself, so even if you are selling your labour to a factory owner you still really are a part-owner in the "means of production".

@aziz0nomics This is how Marx makes his analysis. The concept that Living Labour and the Means of Production are two separate things is quite possibly the easiest thing to understand about Marxism. This is embarrassing for you.

@aziz0nomics You clearly don’t understand because that’s not how Marx defines it. Labour Power (what you call “living labour”) is the workers subjective capacity to work. The MOP are things like factories, raw materials, machines etc. They are distinctly separate.

If Iran wants peace I would suggest it needs to: 1/ disband the IRGC 2/ remove the Supreme Leader and accept a transition to democracy 3/ stop supporting Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis 4/ apologise and pay reparations for attacks on UAE/Kuwait/Qatar, etc

If Iran gets a nuclear weapon, a load of innocent people, the majority of them Muslims, in states like Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia that are not even at war with Iran will be at serious risk of getting nuked.
