Maybe reduce the size of the leagues ?
It's becoming pretty clear that our winters are getting wetter each year. The reason Charnock had to play so many games in such a short time was the league added teams and priority was given to cups at weekends in the early part of the season.
Make cups midweek games or start them in pre season instead.
Just a suggestion !

League only allowed to extend to May 2 from April.
What's your suggestion? Start in July?

I get that the weather has been a nightmare this season, but let’s look at the reality for @ABFC2022 and @DaltonUnited. Expecting lads to play four times a week isn’t just 'tough'—it’s a massive injury risk and completely ignores their work-life balance. Surely common sense says we extend the league by two weeks? Let’s put player welfare ahead of a rigid calendar.
