Talked to a commercial builder last night who told me his company paid $1.2 million in tariffs last year and no one can tell him to get a refund.

I loved writing this piece for Washington Examiner's series on the future of conservatism. Conservatives (and all Americans) must embrace personal responsibility and individual agency and reject the voices telling them they are victims.

In Callais, SCOTUS reaffirmed a basic constitutional principle: race cannot be the dominant factor in drawing congressional districts. The Court upheld the Constitution and made clear that the Voting Rights Act was meant to stop racial discrimination. My colleague Gadai Bulgac and Rachel Greszler dissected the April 2026 @BLS_gov jobs report. What’d they find? A number of things, including the fact that private sector job growth increased likely due to the Supreme Court striking down Trump’s tariffs.
