@danielvane I think he’s done enough to be considered. Heavily involved with Brentford’s rise. Excellent track record with U21s and Senior team, plays attacking football and would come with a lot of affection from the fans.

And an even better day today. Still sleeping a fair bit but now starting to pester for food, scratching the carpet and his usual game of follow me to the top of the stairs - the only place he’ll accept belly rubs. The linger Ginger bugger is definitely on his way back.

The best news this morning. Hobbes woke up walking much better, going to his food and meowing for attention. Literally, a Lazarus like recovery from his stroke. Vet confided she thought today was the end but said he’s like a different Cat. We’re crying happy tears today.

And a step down from Hobbes today. Only eating liquid food if you bring it to him, worse on his feet and breathing is really shallow. And some distress sounds if you stroke him too hard. Steeling ourselves now for tomorrow.

Blood tests came back with a high white blood cell count and anaemia. Visit again on Friday for a check and a chat about best pathway. Specialist tests ruled out due to his age and stress. Next few days he’s getting spoilt as much as he lets us.

So Vet thinks it’s a stroke. But at least he’s eating again this morning and a little more mobile. Not ashamed to say I had a little blub while he was off having his bloods done. Love the little ginger bugger more than life.

I know copyright is important but the length of these sentences are ridiculous. Just give people the option to watch their team at 3pm on a Saturday. Most would happily pay. And make sure a chunk of the funds actually (for once) go the pyramid and grass roots.

Little Ginger fella isn’t himself today. Not pestering for food every five minutes and tucked away in the warm corner next to the boiler. Trip to the vet beckons if he’s not back on form tomorrow.

@sjlufc Hoping it’s just an inner ear thing as he’s wobbly on his feet as well. We’ve been lucky with them TBF. Barely a visit outside of the regular ones.

Also people who leave their rubbish on their seats at the Cinema (or anywhere TBF). It takes minimal effort to put it in the bin on your way out. 🤬
