58' Souza gets the wrong side of Junho in the middle of the park and brings down the Stoke man. Burger appeals for a second yellow for Souza but the referee waves it away. 2-0
By the way, our business might not be done yet. 2 players we've been linked with before in Paul Dummett and Stuart Armstrong are still both free agents and they both play in positions we heavily need.

@SufcBran I hope this is more a sign that Wilder rates the kids like Peck, Seriki, Marsh, Oné. I'd be happy to miss out on promotion just so we can build on that young core.
@Duncanelliott19@Rich_Mace@SheffieldUnited Quite literally? Erm, no he isn’t.
He’s a center back being played out of position. Watch the Norwich game back, his only decent contributions come when he’s doing things a center back needs to do and in a central area.
He’s absolutely not a right back. Plank
Four players short, with two loan spots available. United: Nah, we’re done and we’ll just make do
To change set up to play wingers, but not actually bothering with a LW is mental. #twitterblades
- Huge pressure on the defence to remain solid now with clean sheets.
- Moore / Brewster one has to always be fit. And need at least 12 goals from the one who gets the most minutes.
- 2 of the midfielders need to bang 10+
MINIMUM

@benballcv There is no news. Someone on X is making it up (shocker).
Leeds made a derisory bid, it was rejected, he played last night, and Leeds are apparently not going to meet the valuation we set. Wilder even addressed it in his interview.
Wouldn't it be nice if the club actually gave out news? Just read Leeds have signed Hamer. Now the club should either announce it, ir if its boloney issue a denial. Do they have a social media manager? #twitterblades
@SheffieldUnited Interesting that it's Davies over Grbic. Not even gambling on him anymore.
Another great opportunity for some youngsters, and a chance for Brewster to get that goal!
@GriftersUnited@HalTheBlade Tbf he was exposed in the PL last season, but not in a good way. Tidy ball-playing defender, but not good enough at that level.
@HalTheBlade For him it’s probably a sideways move but PL exposure right away. For us, I think he’s replaceable for the right offer and it gives funds to help elsewhere. I don’t see his sale changes anything for others not then leaving as they’re all individuals with their own careers.
Anel Ahmedhodžić to Ipswich is the rumour
How we feeling about this potential transfer?
If he leaves which positions need strengthening most urgently?

@bdtbl_andy I'm okay with letting him go for good money. Not convinced he'd want to stay if we missed out on promotion (which is more than likely) and we'll get more for him now. Also don't think he's good enough for the PL, so would rather re-invest.
@daviessteven44@oldsufctweets I'm nearly 40 so don't remember where the club was back in the 80s, but those years in League One were diabolical. We could have gone in free-fall down to L2 or even NL.
PA deserves credit for where we are now.
@AllThingsBlades I'm 38 so it's hard to choose between Bassett (who I barely remember), Warnock (who was manager during the years that I started properly getting into football), and Wilder (who led us out of the wilderness that I'd seen us stuck in).
I'm going with Wilder.
@AllThingsBlades I'm torn. Should we get him out on loan, or keep him in the first team as we're a bit light in CM options. He looks ready for the Championship for sure.
@GironaExpat Yeah I know, my point was Trusty has the pace of a LB and the height of a CB. Making him ideal to play in the centre alongside a less mobile CB like Souttar.
...Trusty partnership at the back. Good win and another opportunity awaits for the youngsters to impress in the next round, maybe before they go out on loan to gain experience.
