To add controversy to controversy, I for one am never really satisfied with the term “beneficial” at all (in the context of biology), since it usually over simplifies some very complex biological systems. In essence I think you captured my latent concern!

@RichardBJ1 Fortunately my princess gets a full variety of meat, veggies, kibble and even bananas (laced with her medication 😉). She ate cat poo yesterday as well, not sure what the nutritional value of that would be 😂

You’ll see our wider conclusions are that properly formulated vegan diets are probably fine for dogs theconversation.com/vegan-dog-food… but whether any kibble enriches their disappointingly short lives is another matter

@RichardBJ1 …..only feed my dog some veggies 😂 she does LOVE her veggies, esp crunchy ones, but she also LOVES meat so would never deny her this. Interesting effect of unconscious bias in your report.
