@TheNCSmaster They're both wonderful they are, i actually appreciate how different Edris' Knuckles is from various other renditions- and I enjoy Keanu's pained but vulnerable take on shadow-
But it's obvious very expensive to pay them compared to say- hiring a character voice actor instead.

Celebrity voices can work as long as they do one thing. CARE.
It’s not just an easy paycheck, they want to make it good. Idris Elba and Keanu Reeves are perfect recent example. They put in genuine effort to bring Knuckles and Shadow to life on the big screen

I understand the reservations against celebrity voice acting but it's honestly a really cool thing when the actor choice is unconventional or inspired. Like I think it's awesome we were all exposed to a Billy Crystal performance as kids thanks to Monsters Inc
