The much maligned Richard III, Duke of Gloucester, coming back to defend the Monarchy from its detractors. Justice for all. Loyalty binds me. White boar badge🐗

@EltonMusk12 I guess he doesn’t want the assessment that might not give him what he wants. He can’t really skip the 28 days notice if it is just for the UK as they’ll need to work out people’s shifts.

I don't understand this massive PR push of Harry's to get armed 24/7 security. If he gives 28 days' notice, the threat is assessed and he gets appropriate security. Is it that he wants the public he despises to pay for security for him when he's in the US and elsewhere? Get lost!

The oldest pub in York, with the longest continuous licence, is widely considered to be Ye Olde Starre Inne on Stonegate, with its licence dating back to 1644, the building itself is older, from the mid-1500s. Used as a hospital during the English Civil War. Pint?🍺 @EdmundsGhost

St Cuthbert, a favourite saint of King Richard III. When Viking raids forced the monks to flee Lindisfarne in 875 AD, they took Cuthbert's body with them for safekeeping along with the head of St Oswald. ❤️

Happy St. Cuthbert’s Day! St. Cuthbert was a favourite saint of #RichardIII who visited his shrine at Durham Cathedral in May 1484. The glass restoration works at York Minster have also provided a wonderful opportunity to see York’s stunning c.1440 depiction of the saint up close.

St Cuthbert’s coffin rested at St Mary & St Cuthbert's Church, Chester-le-Street, for 112 years (883-995 AD) before being moved to Durham. Guthred, Danish King of York, granted the monks the ancient Roman fort of Chester-le-Street, after participating in a ceremony to crown him.
