@garyseconomics It’s a good sign they want to come on, but I don’t think you should do it. Ask yourself what their agenda is.. they are simply going to come on for an endorsement (or proximity) and just proclaim they are doing everything they can possibly do. Imo hold the course, keep building.

@DAZN_help_ You’ve lost a long-term paying customer here. Making me pay for a membership i couldn’t cancel seems counter-intuitive to me but whatever. Goodbye.

@RichardLuke_ Hey there! 👋 Please send us a DM so we can look into this further. 👇 twitter.com/messages/compo…

@n_padovani @dazngroup exactly the same for me... not very classy. and my membership still won't cancel @DAZNBoxing / @EddieHearn

English

@dazngroup Can I have some clarification please?
Last Saturday I requested for my subscription to be cancelled, and I was billed anyone for this month.
Talking with your customer care is utterly frustrating and it looks like they have been instructed to act like idiots on purpose

English

@DAZNBoxing Anyone else have @DAZNBoxing charging them £24.99 today despite cancelling "membership" after the Joshua fight. Not very classy @EddieHearn

Yesterday I blocked someone who was calling me antisemitic for calling out the continuing onslaught in Gaza (along with many wonderful Jews who feel equally disgusted by the genocide).
Every morning I imagine opening the bathroom door to see a room full of 2 to 5 year old starving children crying and begging for my help to find their dead parents or friends…
Then I imagine soldiers pushing past me to open fire on these kids. They kill every single one in front of me. The room is filled with blood.
Then one turns to me and casually says “we’re pretty sure at least one of them was protecting Hamas” as they walk off chatting together.
If you can’t get the horror of what is happening every day because of a single awful day of carnage in October, then you have lost your humanity and perspective. Nothing and no one can justify this.
Every day. It has to stop.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT :)
After much reflection, I’ve decided to explain myself regarding the post below…
A few days ago, out of nowhere, I had a heart attack.
Nuts…
I was rushed to hospital and the NHS put a stent in one of the arteries leading to my heart, after which I was kept in to await a similar operation (which I was referring to in my quoted post) on another artery. Both ops have gone well and the NHS were fantastic. I will need a third, bigger operation next month but one day at a time I reckon…
I weight train 3-4 times a week, regularly kick-box, eat healthily and had no history of heart disease. When I spoke to the doctor, he said it was probably a genetic predisposition… Basically, as a British Asian I have a significantly higher likelihood of cardiovascular disease or heart attacks. My dad had a triple heart bypass, my mum has had two attacks and three of my uncles had heart attacks with one dying on the spot.
It’s a terrifying feeling. Your chest feels like someone is sitting on your chest holding a 200kg weight and your head feels like it’s spinning out of control as you struggle to remain conscious. In my case, I completely blacked out, falling onto a glass ornament from a standing position, smashing the coffee table with my face as I collapsed into a pool of blood and broken shards, penetrating both cheeks, my nose and the area just beneath my eyes. Later a plastic surgeon had to carefully remove pieces of glass from my face with tweezers after 4 injections to my face.
I’m ok… and (quick plug) we’ll still be touring the UK in April (Glasgow, Birmingham, Brighton and London between the 7-11 aegpresents.co.uk/event/nitin-sa…). Obviously we had to defer playing @WOMADelaide until next year. We also have to defer my performance with @the_halle on May 4th to later in the year as that will be soon after my third heart operation.
On a positive, I’m also proud to say I (plug 2) produced three tracks on the current U.K. number one album of @rodstewart and #joolsholland
Ok. Self promotion over 😂
The point is there has been an alarming rise in fatalities from heart disease recently.. particularly amongst British Asians. So… if you are Asian or, to be honest, in any vulnerable group… get your heart health checked out. It could save your life. You might not see something like this coming… I didn’t.

Can’t say what it is… but I’m about to go through something pretty major. Wish me luck :) 🙏🏾💫

@seanonolennon Agree, it’s like one of those books where you could choose which page to go to. They were advertised as ‘you write the story’ but really your options were limited to the architecture of the book itself. Same deal here. That’s not to say it isn’t cool. I liked those books too x

I know we’re all a bit worried about the recent breakthroughs in AI generated art. But I think we’ve had enough time to recover from the initial excitement, and I am left with a feeling that even the best stuff I’ve seen feels gimmicky to me. It’s cool. It’s new. But for the most part it doesn’t hold my interest. Not yet anyway.
