TRUMP'S ORDER REFERS PRECISELY TO THE FRAUDULENT IPCC SCIENCE THAT WE HAVE BEEN RELENTLESSLY EXPOSING HERE!
Jonathan Cohler@cohler
3 Hours Ago President Trump EXPOSED The National Academy of Sciences For Their FRAUDULENT ABUSE OF SCIENCE AND MATH

@BirdlifeSC You're a moron man. I think you're missing the point of climate change.
Wake up sheeple
English

False. Climate Alarmism also lacks cross‑disciplinary coherence. Geological evidence shows we’re exiting an ice age, making higher temperatures expected. It has never been demonstrated that anthropogenic CO₂ has any effect on global temperatures.

Amelia Forest@greenheroaf
@BirdlifeSC Beautiful poem, but Australia's climate extremes don't disprove climate change. The scientific consensus is clear and we need to act.
English

"We need to offer up scary scenarios." There it is in black and white. And these are the people telling us to trust the science. Give me boring nuclear power and honest engineers any day.

Just in case we forget the mission of the IPCC, here's a reminder.
English

I don't understand why anyone who is not a climate alarmist would give ANY credibility WHATSOEVER to "the climate models" ie the CMIP models?
They are
ABSOLUTELY
TOTALLY
and
COMPLETELY
FALSIFIED.
No CMIP model has
EVER
produced a SINGLE output
with an R^2 > 0.2
THEY ARE A FRAUD
A FAKE
a complete ABOMINATION
on SCIENCE.
Am I being clear?

The people in charge know perfectly well that there is no man made climate catastrophe and global warming.
Today, the global temperature is well BELOW the average in the last 500 million years. We are slowly climbing out of a global cooling period, thos should be celebrated!
More CO2 and warmth means MORE LIFE!
But their useful idiot lieutenants in media, politics, academia, think tanks, charities, and NGOs knowingly or unwittingly promote this scam.
As a result of decades of resulting indoctrination and brainwashing, the majority of ordinary folk believe this nonsense too.
So if its not real, why are they promoting this lie?
Well, simples.
"They" make money by the policies they have created, the carbon credits, carbon tax, subsides, green agenda.
But more importantly, they get to blame us for the pollution their rampant parasitical nature has caused AND they get us to give up our freedoms, how much we can travel and where, by what type of vehicle and fuel, what we can eat and how much, pay more for utilities, decrease our quality of life, guilt us into not procreating "too many people in the world" BS.
Finally, we willingly march into our digital prisons, which we also designed and built all because we need to save the planet.
Any so-called global disaster that requires a global solution is simply bullshit and a scam.

English

@Electroversenet Did you leave your brain in your other pants when you wrote this?
English

The global mean surface temperature today is only about 1C warmer than it was in 1880.
This modest rise has been framed as a 'climate emergency,' yet in historical context it is trivial.
Global temperatures have fluctuated by more than 10C over natural glacial cycles long before industrialization. Even during the Holocene, recent periods such as the Medieval Warm Period were far warmer than today without triggering catastrophe.
The data show no runaway warming or planetary collapse. In fact, historical records reveal warmth is beneficial to humanity and to life in general.
This disconnect between reality and the apocalyptic rhetoric exposes the ruse. There is no "climate crisis."
English

Wake me when a climate hoaxer can use emissions data to predict the red and blue blotches. Until then, it’s just weather.

Soccer is America’s like 5th prioritized sport… if the top athletes in the country focused on soccer, USA would be the best team in the world
Dispropaganda@Dispropoganda
Dear Americans, this is how much of Europe it took to beat you in the world cup in your own home. Try being a little bit more humble next time.

@leerob I have been experimenting with writing-* skills in my repo that do a pretty good job
But it does NOT improve speed, only quality

Are current LLMs incompatible with great creative writing?
I can't tell if it's cope or not, but it seems like even with the best models, I still can't get them to write like humans would.
For coding, there is a verifiable reward like it compiling or tests passing. But for creative work like writing, it's much more subjective.
I have struggled to prompt / harness the models to write truly amazing work. They are fantastic for spell checking, grammar suggestions, and taking on different personas to read and critique work.
Maybe it's because I'm only doing nonfiction, and to write something top 0.1% means that you need to think over a long horizon and develop an interesting insight about the world. Great writing is clear thinking.
I've even asked models to try 10 different versions of a blog post, then have a council of models grade and critique the results and pick the best parts... and still I end up with this lowest common denominator slop.
Skill issue? Someone show me the way.

@JunkScience The average is how we estimate normal. What are you on?
What other baseline can you call normal is not the average?
English

Reuters claims today is 2°F (1.1°C) warmer than "normal." Reuters should have used "average" vs. "normal." But the use of "normal" implies today is "abnormal", which it is really not.
Moreover:
1. The Reuters claim is from a black box guesstimate by anonymous climate hoaxers.
2. Recall that, a year ago today, there was slight global cooling (-0.02°C) from the 30-year average.
3. Today, the average global temperature is only estimated at 0.38°C above the 30-year average.
4. Reuters has melodramatically overheated the world for propaganda purposes, knowing that the only people that read its crap are North Americans baking in a heat wave this week and Europeans who baked in a heat wave last week.
5. All these temperatures are guesstimates. We don't have the enough of the same data to reliably or consistently estimate an average global temperature.
6. Keep in mind that Nobel prize winning physicist John Clauser says the uncertainty surrounding "global warming" effect is 10x larger than the claimed effect.
Stay cool and hydrated, and out of the junk science.

@climacritic Have you heard of rate of change my man? Changing the environment within 50 years is different when it changes over the course of thousands of years

Noi c'eravamo.

@BidensPrevagen @Annakhait Maybe higher levels of education?

@Annakhait I visited the Netherlands a couple years ago. Climate Change is a cult over there. Everyone from the most conservative to the most liberal believe in it like it's a god. I have no problem believing that story after what I saw there.
English

I just spoke with someone from the Netherlands who said that, unlike in the U.S., many homes in Europe don’t have air conditioning. With this recent heat wave, the lack of AC has made the extreme temperatures especially dangerous and over 75,000 people have died last month. Can anyone verify that?
English

@Carbongate That is it? You proved it you think? I don't get this
