I’m profoundly sad to see my school on the list. I knew of one case, but not multiple. The extent of the abuse, nationally, is staggering and repulsive. Is there anyone here around my age whose school is NOT on it? #SchoolAbuse

@Richardstearn @philipnolan1 I went to Clonkeen too, but this is the first time I've actually seen it mentioned in relation to abuse cases. That always surprised me, because there was one individual in particular who I'd be shocked if they weren't one of the two alleged abusers.

@Uberwald @philipnolan1 Fr. Harry Moore was appointed chaplain to Clonkeen College in 1986. He was convicted in 2005 of abuse & sexual assault of a 16 year old boy in Bayside, north Dublin prior to his posting to Clonkeen. He got a suspended sentence. He has a chapter to himself in the Ryan Report 2009
