Regardless of market conditions, we will continue to find the newest gems together. ​ @KeetaNetwork is the perfect example of this! ​ Let's do a project update to ensure you aren't missing the latest. 📃👇 Quick TL;DR for those who haven't read my long-form piece, I've linked it below in case you want to dig in. 👇 ​ Keeta is an upcoming L1 aiming to enter the market of international transactions. They aim to be easier and safer to use than services like Venmo. ​ They are backed by a strong team of Web3 veterans and former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, who led the $17M seed round. ​ Since my last piece, Keeta has continued to develop their product as they prepare for their mainnet launch, which is set to go live this summer. ​ $KTA just went live on BitMart. I expect this to be one of many upcoming CEXes that will list $KTA. It is actually wild how few major CEX list KTA even though the volume and performance are through the roof. ​ Sooner or later, this will happen, though. Not only will this make Keeta more visible to investors, but it will also deepen liquidity, which tends to be a significant bottleneck for growth in projects as ambitious as Keeta. We received some more insight into the utility of $KTA. Besides serving as their native gas token, it will also be used for governance. ​ Utilizing delegated proof-of-stake to drive the network, we will be able to either vote ourselves or delegate our $KTA. Delegates can decide to charge fees for their contribution, which can also be paid out to us if the delegator decides to do so. I'm a big fan of native staking rewards as you grow your position in $KTA instead of dollar value, allowing for exponential growth. ​ $KTA will migrate to the mainnet once this launches. ​ They released their vanity address generator for developers, a small but nice integration as it allows devs to create an easy-to-recognize address instead of the random public key we are used to; basically, an .ens name for all. ​ Additionally, they released a block explorer for their testnet. As someone who works with developers from time to time, these tools are essential for them to build efficient tools on a network. ​ Keeta released more information on how their chain will function, including Atomic swaps. I love this vision; instead of liquidity pools that are usual for us on both DEXes and CEXes, on Keeta you will be able to swap assets seamlessly. ​ This is very much the interoperability dream that is still being chased by almost every chain we know, and Keeta will have this as a built-in function. ​ Not only will this set a security standard, making overall compliance easier, but it also means we will likely see a one-stop shop for all our swap needs. My closest comparison to this would be Jumper, but compared to Atomic swaps, this will seem like an invention of the past. ​ Keeta is doing all this and more in just the last few weeks; imagine how fast they will grow once external developers start building on their mainnet.
