It’s not just one midweek game. It’s 3 midweek losses in a row, with subpar offense against inferior teams over the weekend. Do the actual losses matter that much on paper if you take care of business in SEC play? No. But the performance in these games absolutely matters. It’s not just a loss or two. It’s a bad trend and one that needs to be fixed immediately or it will continue to carry over in to Vanderbilt. I’m as positive as they come, but there’s nothing wrong with criticizing things that aren’t going well. If it didn’t matter, Jay is not having extended meetings with team and coaching staff after the past 3 games and then his face looking like he went through war when talking to us in the press conference afterwards.

I seriously do not know what the answer is for this team. The approach at the plate is awful. Pitching is shaky. The defense has been complete ass. I still believe we will turn it around, but man, this shit is rough.
