Is being in the nets with Kholi is qualitatively better than playing a four-day game against Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow? Surrey's entire top six has played multiple tests for England. That's not a bad environment to be in is it?

About 50% of Div One County Championship matchday squad players have international caps, vs about 65% in the IPL. Not a massive difference, esp if the dozen or so IPL players from England went back. I'd add that flat Indian T20 wickets are not good prep for English test wickets.

The only way England don’t go to Mumbai is if South Africa lose to Zimbabwe and India then jump above SA on NRR with a massive win over West Indies, making India Q1 in their group, and therefore guaranteed to play Q2 from England’s group with their Mumbai guarantee.

You've seen now that if Farage doesn't win a majority, he will say it was stolen from him and likely attempt a legal challenge. At worst, he may use dog whistle tactics to invite riots in the way he did after the Southport attack.

Farage's bizarre reenactment of the Trump stolen election strategy is particularly pathetic given it's for a single seat in a by election. He's seemingly sobbed his way into getting what he wants as well, given all his party colleagues were dismissing it as a factor this morning.
