We asked our director Patricia Gómez about her approach to staging Handel's Susanna. She said: "To emphasise that Susanna's story is as relevant today as it was in biblical times, I'm borrowing a narrative device used in The Hours to tell the story of three women in parallel."

We're delighted to welcome lyric soprano Salome Northridge for her debut with Richmond Opera, singing the heroic role of Danielle (Daniel). Salome has performed many stage roles and was recently active in the @RoseOpera1 Recital series. Do come and hear her!
