Yea, I was wrong here. I was already using the game he got hurt into the 64....he would be at 63 + the 5 minute game and needing 1 more
Another reason for @FredKatz pitch on the podcast yesterday @omarisankofa
Motor City Hoops@MotorCityHoops
So, *IF* Cade plays the final 3 games and gets to 64 is the #NBA going to keep him from being eligible for awards because he is 1 game short and had a game where he started and intended to play but only played 5 minutes due to a collapsed lung???

@movedmypivot Paolo was a bad matchup for Reed. As would Scottie. But they will need this when they play Cleveland or New York though

@BruceTennen I hope Detroit wasn't hoping for that cause 16/18 is beyond below market, it's disrespectful.
Last summer, a reasonable bar starts at claxtons 25M and by the end of last season, they weren't a 7-9M per season gap.

The Pistons were hoping that Jalen Duren would accept a below market deal this past summer probably for $16 to 18 million a season for four seasons. Instead, they likely cost themselves at least double that after his phenomenal season this year.

I am *baffled* by this take. It’s not even the max he could have signed for right now and, he makes an all-NBA team this year (highly likely) and they signed it next year, he would be eligible for $50mil more.

@pistons_jack If Ivey or another guard drafted high were putting up daniss' stats , they'd say cade has his guard robin.

@Ry54126 @UnderdogNBA Luka played 62 games of 20+ mins.
Hes still able to appeal based on what you’re saying, but just wanted the #s to be accurate
English

@Richrr_ @UnderdogNBA cade played 60 games, to have a type of appeal you need to play 62 with 20 minutes each — he played 64
English

@BruceTennen Technically yes, but he needed to do more to earn their trust so it could be viewed as a win win.
Jalen won’t feel resentment for being “underpaid” and Detroit feels more confident with their investment
