The collateral backing your yield when you deposited might not be the same collateral backing it today. Generic pools take a snapshot at origination and never look again, but collateral is a living thing that shifts as markets move. LENDRA1 watches it continuously, because a one-time check is not a risk management strategy.

One thought I'd add to my previous post... This wasn't a conclusion we arrived at because regulators started paying more attention to crypto. Years ago, we made a deliberate decision to invest in regulated financial infrastructure because we believed the future of onchain finance wouldn't be built by choosing between innovation and regulation, it would be built by combining both. Becoming one of the first crypto firms to receive a South African crypto licence wasn't the destination. It was an early step toward the vision we're building today with ZIG Markets. The goal has never been to make finance less regulated, it has always been to make regulated finance programmable.
