This was exactly what we did in my first marriage with my ex. Every thing was shared 50-50 including once weekly cleaners fee. It worked and we were able to grow financially both jointly and independently. We had excel templates too. It only becomes a problem where manipulation comes in. Finance wasn't part of why we divorced by the way.

Its a lie. I have kids, I take care of my kids, I wake up every morning to get my kids ready for school and drop them off at school, I cook, I clean, my wife doesn't let me do laundry, I spend time with my kids as much as my wife. Men should be responsible at home too.

Idk why but a man specifically handling the rent/ mortgage is v important to me. I can chip in every other bill or we can split those 80 (me)/20 But it’s important that he handles that rent for there to be any respect/ submission
