@chase10796 You don't need to throw it since any wall is automatically broken if you are carrying a barrel/TNT barrel and go next to it. I pretty much figured how to progress to the next one this way.

@RickHamster1 you're supposed to earn the barrel from the bonus room and jump at the wall and throw it before the game takes you back to the main level. i can imagine several people originally missing out on 100% ing the game because of this

No. They're much worse. The whole "literal translation" bit is worn out. Actual translators from other languages manage just fine. Hell stuff like Shogun have great translations. It is almost exclusively a JP -> EN anime/game translation issue with trash localizations.
