@DreamReality as of 10:35am est, marathon has 662 players on it. LOL. Great take that players will convert to it. I think you have a misunderstanding of the definition on convert. 24 hour peak.... 11,000. Game never went over 90k current players. 88k all time peak. It's a terrible game!

@BlameItOnRyen No true destiny player should want Bungie to make destiny 3. They destroyed Destiny 2, then put out a garbage game, in marathon. Who would actually want them to make Destiny 3??? DEI , blue hair, pronoun group destroys another company! But they got the pronouns in their videos!

Destiny fans might not wanna hear it, but if you really want to see Bungie get a greenlight for Destiny 3 you should maybe support Marathon as opposed to shitting on it and review bombing it.

I think there is A LOT of confusion around how Marathon is approached and discussed in relation to Destiny right now. I do believe it is important to support Marathon to give Bungie their best chance. ******BUT PLEASE HEAR ME OUT****** “Supporting” a game does not mean you have to play it or contribute to it financially. It could be as simple as not engaging with the content in any negative way. You don’t even have to acknowledge it, but if you want Bungie to succeed as a studio and with the Destiny IP, you have to at least acknowledge Marathon is a Bungie IP that needs to do well for the studio’s sake. Even if you don’t play Marathon, even if you hate it, even if you wish it would crash and burn and fall from memory and existence, you can still support it by not contributing to its failure. Again: ❕YOU DO NOT NEED TO PLAY OR PAY FOR MARATHON TO SUPPORT IT.❕ (It would actually probably be worse to enter into the Marathon community with such vitriol anyways.) So instead of thinking of it as you need to play Marathon to help make D3 happen, think of it as you need to not contribute to its failure to give D3 a shot. Just my two cents.

I have hardly seen any Marathon players “guilt” people into playing the game 😭😭 if ANYTHING… the most popular posts (about this topic) are people BLAMING and boycotting Marathon because of Destiny 2. Villainizing players who just love Marathon is weird. There is another side to every coin.

pens should be particularly thankful to geno. he is a superstar on his own and chose to stay in sid’s shadow when he could’ve gone to another team and been THE superstar but geno said only for pittsburgh always with sid his ROOKIE year. pens not returning the loyalty is crazy.

Geno and Sid especially should get to play as long as they want here. People are so quick to kick superstars to the curb when their perceived impact diminishes - embarrassing. All the years where they could have gone to another team, earned a lot more money or had other potential Stanley cup runs - they gave up to commit to the Penguins organization, their teammates and the fans. They have both earned the right to stay. This goes for Letang too.
