@richardaross I haven’t seen my son Richard since September 2, 2008 and have never met his daughter, my granddaughter. In the 15 years since, I’m most often at a loss for words in my prayers for him. My most heartfelt Richard prayers consist of one very simple phrase. Oh God … please.

Fine Prayers: “Bring our prodigal back to church.” “Give our prodigal a reason to stay alive.” “Reconnect our prodigal with the family.” Far More Powerful: “Awaken our prodigal to the love, grace, and awesome glory of King Jesus.”

When my wife goes home today, we will say, “Blessed be the Name.” My wife was moved to ICU yesterday because the staff saw “heart rhythms that can be fatal.” What if LaJuana had gone Home? We would say, “Blessed be the Name.” Life AND death: All about Jesus.

In this clip from the 2001 Daytona 500, Frankie Muniz is in the pace car while the car seen behind him is Sterling Marlin's #40 22 years later, Marlin's chassis from that race is still racing in ARCA with Rette-Jones, and is likely the car Muniz himself will race at Daytona 🤯
