Vikings have had the ball twice today and done whatever they’ve wanted. Just went on a ridiculous, you-can’t-stop-anything 19 play, 98 yard TD drive, JJ McCarthy, one of the league’s worst QBs this year, is 9/10 for YDS and a TD. They’ve run for 64 yards on 14 attempts.

Adam Peters' job is to not give out bad contracts. McLaurin is likely asking for more than a soon-to-be 30 year old WR should get. He probably wants a deal longer than he should get. I don't doubt that AP is making a smart business decision by not caving. But sometimes, you pay a bit of a tax to take care of your Mount Rushmore guys. I'm just stunned they haven't been willing to do that in this case. I'm not even saying they're wrong. It's hard to do that without knowing what McLaurin's asking for.
