I was a delegate for Bernie for that election year. It was simultaneously one of the most traumatizing and proudest experiences of my life. America + the world had the opportunity to have one of its greatest Presidents. Bernie isn't POTUS because of 1% + corporate GREED and political leaders willingness to sell out because of their own GREED. I still have hope though that one day the tides will indeed turn. We will lose many battles along the way but in the end we will win the war where the people + planet are prioritized over the 1%. Birdie Sanders is a symbol of that vision. 🕊️
